Types of Positions
We have a wide range of positions available to our students in various departments, including:
- Software Development
- Database Development
- Software Testing
- Mechanical Design
- Project Management
Co-op Positions
RIM US Co-op opportunities take place during the academic school year. Typically these positions run from September through December, or January through May, although the length may vary based on the needs of the position and availability of the student.
Intern Positions
RIM US Intern positions take place during the summer months (May-August). The length of the internship will vary based on each student’s availability and his or her school year cycle.
Hiring Process
Recruitment for all US student opportunities begins approximately four months before the start of term. You can find all student job postings on your school's career site, as well as at www.rim.com/careers. Throughout the term RIM will be visiting campuses to take part in career fairs, information sessions and resume review workshops. Check out our campus event calendar, and be sure to come see us when we are in your neighborhood.
Successful candidates will be scheduled a phone and/or an on-site interview.
Students who dedicate time to learn about who we are excite us the most, and are usually successful.
New Grad Opportunities
New grad opportunities are available at all US offices. RIM is looking for students from a variety of academic backgrounds for these challenging positions. We also aim to provide new grad positions to top talent who have previously been employed by RIM as a Co-op or Intern student.
