How We Support You

We believe that bringing people into the organization at an early stage in their career helps to sustain our energy, promotes a strong interplay of ideas and cultivates strong industry leaders. At the same time, you will benefit from the RIM commitment to developing your knowledge and skills.

Key milestones for new graduate hires at RIM are:

  1. General Orientation Program
This is scheduled at the beginning of your work experience. We introduce you to the overall structure and functional design of RIM, and some of the key organizational and administrative processes.
  2. Introduction to Your Team
The transition into your role should be as smooth and successful as possible. RIM employees are some of the most capable and accomplished professionals in the world. You and your team will work together to make sure you achieve a high level of success.
  3. On the Job Training
With RIM, you will receive hands-on training. We give you responsibilities so you can experience challenges, and we lend support and assistance so you feel confident and can earn your success.
  4. Establishment of Personal Position Objectives
Once we have had the time to get to know each other, you will work with your manager to establish your personalized objectives for your role. You and your supervisor can use a combination of business and personal development achievements as motivational targets, progress markers, and stepping stones to enhanced responsibilities and opportunities.
  5. Semi-Annual 1st Year Review
You will receive feedback on your performance regularly, and will also have a formal review after your first six months in your role. We do this to ensure that you understand how you are progressing, and to make sure that RIM has a record and understanding of your activities and progress. We want to assist you in managing your career.
  6. Establishment of Personal Career Path Objectives
RIM also encourages you to plot out your initial career path objectives. What activities, roles, and technology issues are most interesting to you? In what areas are you particularly adept? What are realistic timeframes for your development? A career is not always a straight and simple path. At RIM, planning and visualizing your career progress helps us to understand and support you.
