The RIM Marketing team is responsible for marketing the company’s products and solutions in order to generate revenue, and increase the market and mind share for the organization.
This global team, consisting of global leaders, is responsible for:
- planning, developing, implementing and executing the company’s go-to-market and sales strategies and programs, including product advertising/promotion; telemarketing; e-commerce marketing; specific product/product line marketing; and multiple channel programs
- planning, developing and coordinating all internal and external communications programs
- building awareness of RIM services and products in all key segments
- creating content, setting style and supporting all company websites
- assessing, analyzing and maintaining the supply to demand ratio
Here are some of the positions you will find within the Marketing area:
Carrier Channel Marketing
Carrier Marketing positions are responsible for providing dedicated marketing support to select RIM carriers, as it specifically relates to the BlackBerry® solution and the carrier channels that market it. The Carrier Marketing team will work to develop and manage the successful launch of the BlackBerry solution into specific carrier channels.
Public Relations Specialist
The Public Relations Specialist will help to develop, manage and execute public relations plans focused on specific areas of RIM business. While working in conjunction with the RIM International Public Relations team to ensure messaging is clear and consistent, the specialist cultivates relationships and maintains strong ties with various RIM groups to drive communications plans to a wide range of media interest.
Product Manager
The Product Manager identifies, plans and brings to market industry-leading products to grow BlackBerry business. The Product Manager is a key member of a cross-functional team and interfaces with RIM business units and external customers.
