Facilities
The RIM Facilities team is responsible for providing a number of business services to ensure the effective and efficient operation of our global organization, such as:
- budgeting and scheduling building modifications
- real estate management
- infrastructure management
- ensuring the maintenance and repair of each of our facilities
- preventative maintenance
- coordinating and executing issues relating to security and safety
Mail and Office Services
The RIM Office Services team is responsible for providing a number of business services to ensure the effective and efficient operation of our global organization. As a member of this team, you will provide general administrative services to staff and management including:
- receiving and directing visitors, incoming calls, employment applicants, salespersons and customers to appropriate locations and parties
- ensuring internal and external delivery of mail and packages
Shipping and Receiving
The RIM Shipping and Receiving team is responsible for providing various business services to ensure the effective and efficient operation of our global organization. Responsibilities include coordinating the receipt and expediting of materials and finished goods to meet production and shipping schedules
Mail Clerks
RIM Mail Clerks are responsible for sorting and delivering incoming Canada Post and interoffice mail, and incoming and outgoing courier packages.
Facilities Electrician
RIM Electricians perform a variety of complex duties related to the supply and control of electrical and emergency power. They test devices, communications, and monitoring equipment throughout RIM buildings and sites.
As a partner to the Building Technician in the Facilities Department, the Electrician participates in a team environment with a variety of groups and supports the After Hours Programs where required.
Building Technician
RIM Building Technicians are responsible for the day-to-day operation of assigned buildings, preventative and predictive maintenance, ensuring building systems are maintained and in proper working order and responding to both employee and tenant requests.
Office Services Assistant
The RIM Office Services Assistant greets clients at reception while maintaining the sign-in register, issuing visitor badges and parking passes, advising employees when their guests have arrived, and providing support to the switchboard.
Shipper
The RIM Shipper responsibilities include:
- support activities of the Shipping Department
- physical material handling, SAP and carrier system transactions
- inventory and documentation control
- control extensive material handling
- packaging and packing shipments
- loss and damage prevention
