Omniva To Extend Security Policy Manager Solution to BlackBerry
San Francisco, CA. - Omniva Policy Systems, a provider of transparent and easy-to-use secure email policy solutions, today announced that it has entered into a BlackBerry™ISV Alliance Agreement with Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ:RIMM; TSE:RIM). Under terms of the agreement, Omniva will extend and deploy the Omniva Policy Manager application to BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds™.
As a BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program member, Omniva gains access to RIM programs and resources essential to the development of BlackBerry compliant enterprise applications, enabling companies to send and receive secure emails using Omniva Policy Manager via their BlackBerry handhelds. By providing the first truly transparent and easy-to-use secure email policy solution available, Omniva makes it possible for companies to exchange and secure confidential emails within and beyond the corporate boundaries without requiring any special software, downloads, or additional steps.
