FileFish to Offer Secure Mobile Access to Corporate Files Using BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds

New Solution Allows Complete File Access Using BlackBerry Handhelds

Mountain View, CA - FileFish Inc., an emerging leader in corporate information access solutions, today announced that it has formed an alliance with Research In Motion Limited (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSE: RIM) to provide secure access to corporate files using the popular BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds™. FileFish and RIM will collaborate on marketing, engineering development, and business development activities related to FileFish's file access solution for BlackBerry™ handhelds.

FileFish's File Portal Server is a universal file access solution that provides a single point of access to all the files in an organization. File Portal Server seamlessly connects with different file resources inside enterprises, including different file servers (Windows, Unix, and Novell), network attached storage, and PCs. With this alliance, businesses can now leverage File Portal Server to securely access files inside their corporate networks using BlackBerry handhelds.

"BlackBerry handhelds have become key extensions of the enterprise computing environment," said Edwin Ong, FileFish's Chief Strategy Officer. "We are excited to work with RIM to provide IT departments with the ability to rapidly provide secure file access to their BlackBerry users."

With File Portal Server, BlackBerry users can access, view, and share files that reside on their desktops or corporate networks anytime anywhere, without synchronizing or copying files beforehand. For IT managers, File Portal Server is a secure and seamless way to connect their enterprise files to their mobile users, without changing data location or authentication mechanism. FileFish will be demonstrating this technology at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium, April 29 to May 2, in Atlanta, GA.

"File Portal Server is designed to provide BlackBerry users with flexible mobile access to their file storage," said Mark Guibert, Vice President, Brand Management at Research In Motion. "We're pleased to be working with FileFish to offer powerful wireless solutions that enable additional productivity gains for enterprise customers."
