Outercurve Announces Full Support for BlackBerry Mobile Data Service

Iselin, NJ and New Orleans, LA - WIRELESS ENTERPRISE SYMPOSIUM 2003 - Outercurve Technologies, a leading provider of wireless applications and services, today announced its Enterprise Solution Suite, a business application framework that seamlessly integrates and supports the Mobile Data Service feature of BlackBerry Enterprise Server™ from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM).

The Enterprise Solutions Suite is based on Outercurve's Octide™ architecture, which enables the company to rapidly develop wireless enterprise applications on a variety of Java-enabled handheld devices. By fully supporting BlackBerry Mobile Data Service, Outercurve can now extend its mobile Solutions Suite with applications designed for business intelligence, equity trading and document access and delivery to Java-based BlackBerry® handhelds.
