Flowfinity Pushes Forms and Reports to BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds

Flowfinity Products Enable Wireless Data Collection From the Field and Wireless Data Publishing to the Field

New Orleans, LA - Flowfinity Wireless, a leading provider of wireless application products and platforms, today announced the expansion of its Wireless Business Applications product lines with a new release of Forms Server and a new product named Reports Server for BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds™. This product line expansion was made in response to growing demand from customers, partners and carriers. Both products feature push-based communications to improve the automation, immediacy and usability.

Forms Server addresses a market need for secure data collection by enterprise Field Forces, including inspections, surveys, lead generation, and inventory monitoring. Flowfinity Forms Server 2.0 is currently shipping worldwide.

Reports Server addresses a market need for automated data delivery to enterprise Field Forces, including price lists, task assignments, security details, work orders, and inventory reports. Flowfinity Reports Server 1.0 is being previewed at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium this week in New Orleans, with worldwide release scheduled for next quarter.

Flowfinity provides Wireless Business Application products that work with the BlackBerry® wireless platform from Research In Motion (RIM) (NasdaqNM:RIMM - News); (Toronto:RIM.TO - News). "With our Wireless Business Application products, our goal has been to provide plug-and-play functionality to help enterprise Field Forces to improve their productivity," said Dmitry Mikhailov, Flowfinity's CEO and founder. "Our unique approach has been to provide easy-to-use applications that are both fast to deploy and cost-effective to manage. In addition to that, we have some very intelligent software that enables offline capabilities and enables push of application user interfaces and data."

Although these Wireless Business Application products are useful in horizontal market applications like sales automation and employee reporting processes, customers of Flowfinity are also experiencing economic benefits in vertical markets such as:

  • Retail
  • Construction
  • Government
  • Medical

The combined value proposition of Forms and Reports means a valuable "clipboard replacement" solution as well as fulfilling the promise of a "real-time enterprise."
