Flowfinity and Ericom Form Partnership to Extend Legacy Applications to BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds

Legacy Applications Can Now Be Rapidly Field Force Enabled Without Device Coding

New Orleans, LA - Flowfinity Wireless, a leading provider of wireless application products and platforms, and Ericom Software, a leading provider of enterprise connectivity, legacy integration and e-Business solutions, today announced a partnership to provide software tools and technology for extending legacy applications to BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds™ from Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM); (Toronto:RIM.TO - News).

The Flowfinity/Ericom partnership will provide a combined software solution that enables Mobile Application Integration (MAI) for their customers and their partners. Flowfinity's Thinflow platform provides a powerful multi-tasking, offline-capable client on BlackBerry handhelds that can leverage the powerful and transparent legacy systems access provided by Ericom's PowerTerm Host Publisher.
