Itrezzo Ensures Critical Contact Information Is Continuously Updated on BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds

Early Adopters of Emergency Preparedness Software (EPS) Include Veteran’s Administration and Pentagon

Campbell, CA - Shortly after the tragic events of September 11, the US House of Representatives purchased thousands of BlackBerry® handhelds. BlackBerry provided an effective means of communication while very few mobile phone users were able to initiate outbound calls. Other government agencies and large organizations followed suit shortly thereafter and specified BlackBerry as an integral component of their emergency preparedness plan.

itrezzo, a leading 3rd party developer for BlackBerry from Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM), today announced the itrezzoAgent Emergency Preparedness Software (EPS) which enhances BlackBerry PIN-to-PIN communication across the enterprise. EPS facilitates emergency communication even if an organization has lost its data center or communications lines. Before an emergency occurs, the itrezzoAgent Server ensures wireless users have up to date PIN and contact information on their BlackBerry handhelds. Since itrezzo’s EPS does not require any handheld software or hardware upgrades, it can be immediately deployed across the enterprise.

“With itrezzo EPS, the days of mailing around Excel spreadsheets with emergency contact information are over. Now users can have critical contact information that is always available”, commented itrezzo CEO Tim Koltek. “EPS is a patent-pending, automated, over-the-air solution that ensures that critical, up to date contact information is distributed and replicated across the enterprise.”

Updated contact information includes BlackBerry PIN, Nextel DirectConnect ID, pager number, mobile and home phone number and SMS address. EPS is currently available for all BlackBerry handhelds, including the new models 6210/6220/6230/6510/6710/6720/6750/7230.
