Optus adds BlackBerry® to its suite of mobile email solutions

Optus today announced that BlackBerry®, a leading wireless platform marketed around the world, has joined its suite of business mobile email products.

Allen Lew, Managing Director, Optus Mobile said Optus' approach was about ensuring its customers had access to a range of clever email solutions.

"Accessing email on the go is no longer just for technology evangelists, it's become a basic requirement for most businesses.

"Mobile email is about flexibility and freedom. Optus' strength in the mobile email market is in working with our customers to identify their unique needs and determining the best solution.

Our range of solutions includes: BlackBerry, Optus MobileMail and other more specialised solutions delivered with Optus partner, Airloom (such as Intellisync's Email Accelerator) each with features and benefits that suit different organisations' security requirements and email configurations.

Optus will sell the BlackBerry 7230TM and BlackBerry 7730TM and the Nokia 6820 with BlackBerry Connect TM to corporate customers with a range of payment plans available.
