"The Wireless Enterprise Symposium is one of the most important wireless events of the year," said Gadi Mazor, Onset's president and CEO. "As one of RIM's most successful ISV's, we're here because we extend BlackBerry functionality beyond email for mobile professionals in virtually any line of work. The Wireless Enterprise Symposium enhances our established reputation for listening to customers and quickly turning around solutions. This event puts us together with the decision makers who know what they need in a wireless application."

METAmessage, supporting both BlackBerry Mobile Data Service and email connectivity, is used by over 1000 enterprise customers with over 100,000 end users. It is a complete, out-of-the-box solution for BlackBerry. METAmessage solutions include the following.

Basic
METAmessage Basic provides features important to every BlackBerry handheld user regardless of industry. It lets handheld users print messages, attachments, and Web pages anywhere; spell-check outgoing messages; get network documents to read, print, or send; and, quickly get driving directions, flight info, and more using convenient forms.

Government
METAmessage Government lets government inspectors, law enforcement, and other users enter inspection data and reports; query databases; access documents and mugshots; communicate when phones and email are down; blast messages to groups — to pagers, PDA's, phones, PC's, or virtually any device; conference call instantly; and, much more.

Legal
Designed for every law firm deploying BlackBerry handhelds, METAmessage Legal lets mobile attorneys access document management systems to read, print, and send (WorkSite, Hummingbird, etc.); enter time and billing stats (Carpe Diem, DTE, etc.); retrieve client info, matters from CRM apps (InterAction, etc.); ensure professional communications by spell-checking outgoing messages; and, get legal research (LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.).

Field Service
METAmessage Field Service lets mobile service teams open forms on handhelds and either request data from or enter data into corporate information systems. For example, a service person, while on the road, can use their BlackBerry handheld and METAmessage to quickly access open trouble tickets, order a part, or change ticket status. METAmessage supports virtually any popular field service application.

Data
METAmessage Data delivers extremely flexible solutions that provide handheld access to virtually any enterprise data source. A salesperson, while onsite with a customer, can use their BlackBerry Wireless Handheld™ and METAmessage to quickly access delivery status and check product availability from corporate SQL/ODBC databases, Web services, and CRM/ERP applications. METAmessage's data access capability is a quick-to implement solution that works seamlessly with existing messaging infrastructure.

COOP/ER
METAmessage has capabilities especially important for Continuity of Operations (COOP) and emergency or disaster recovery planning. These features include PIN lookup and automatic PIN updating; PIN-to-PIN archiving; message blasting to any communications device; handheld document storage; instant conference calling; and, the Emergency Gateway.

Voice
METAmessage Voice now brings "Always On, Always Connected®" convenience to voicemail access via a user's BlackBerry handheld — whether it is phone enabled or not. BlackBerry users immediately know when email arrives, and now they can immediately know when voicemail arrives by simply checking their BlackBerry handheld. And, instead of having to call in and navigate the voicemail system to listen to messages, METAmessage will, on request, call the user — to play back new messages via any convenient phone, whether it is a cell phone, hotel phone, pay phone, or the handheld itself.

ASP Subscription Service
METAmessage.com lets individuals and workgroups sign up on the Internet to receive METAmessage benefits. Month-by-month billing lets you start and stop using the service whenever you like. The METAmessage.com ASP subscription service adds the following capabilities to user handhelds: print attachments and Web pages; spell-check outgoing messages; get quick info such as driving directions, flight info, and stock quotes; send and receive faxes; and, use several METAmessage Voice features as well.
