Outercurve and O2 to Deliver Financial Applications to BlackBerry® Users
Outercurve Technologies, a leading global provider of wireless handheld business solutions, today announced a new partnership with O2, a UK market leader in mobile data services. The partnership makes Outercurve’s financial applications suite available for BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds™ from Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM).
The relationship enables O2 to market Outercurve’s flagship InfoEdge On-Demand™ service and suite of financial applications to its business customers as part of the BlackBerry from O2 portfolio. At launch, the companies will focus on applications that deliver financial industry intelligence information and wireless document access, including SnapShot Market Indicators™ and news stories to your handheld from FT.com.
The applications being marketed by the two companies enables market data, news, research and document access on BlackBerry wireless handheld devices, providing the information financial professionals need, wherever they may be. SnapShot Market Indicators™ leverages comprehensive market data from ComStock, Inc., and can easily integrate to an enterprise’s own market data feeds.
