20:20 Mobile Group to Distribute BlackBerry Smartphones in Europe

Crewe, UK - 20:20 Mobile Group today announced that it will distribute BlackBerry® smartphones in Europe to retailers, dealers and MVNOs.

Starting immediately, 20:20 Mobile Group will distribute a range of BlackBerry smartphones, including the popular BlackBerry® Curve™ 8300, BlackBerry® 8800 and BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8100.  BlackBerry smartphones provide secure wireless access to email, phone, Internet, text messaging and organizer, as well as thousands of corporate and lifestyle applications.

“There is huge demand for BlackBerry smartphones in Europe and this signifies a great opportunity and milestone for 20:20 Mobile Group. We currently supply thousands of retailers who have actively asked that we provide BlackBerry smartphones,” said Meinie Oldersma, CEO of 20:20 Mobile Group. BlackBerry Curve 8300:
With its stylish design, large display, easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard and intuitive trackball navigation system, the BlackBerry Curve 8300 smartphone looks as great as it performs. It offers a range of advanced multimedia features – including desktop software that gives customers the ability to create MP3 music files from CDs, create play lists and automatically convert pictures, music and videos from a PC for playback on the smartphone. It also comes with a 2 megapixel camera, complete with 5x digital zoom, built-in flash, self-portrait mirror and full screen viewfinder. Photos can be saved on the smartphone, which includes an expandable memory slot for additional storage, or shared easily and instantly by email, MMS or Instant Messaging. BlackBerry 8800:

The BlackBerry 8800 smartphone is an elegant handset that includes a full, highly tactile QWERTY keyboard and a range of features including built-in GPS, media player and expandable memory slot. The large, high resolution display, with its automatic light sensing technology, makes messages, applications and Web pages a pleasure to view. The handset's intuitive trackball navigation system lets users scroll, select menu items and navigate applications and Web pages quickly and easily.

The built-in GPS works with BlackBerry® Maps and a range of location-based applications and services that make it easy for users to find addresses, shops and businesses, track locations and get both visual routes as well as step-by-step directions.  The BlackBerry 8800 is also supported by the latest in mobile applications for the BlackBerry platform, so essential business information can be accessed on the move. 

BlackBerry Pearl 8100:

The sleek, small and elegant BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphone is the smallest BlackBerry handset yet at a mere 4.2” (107mm) x 1.97” (50mm) x .57” (14.5mm) and weighing just 3.1 ounces (89 grams). In addition to supporting phone, email, messaging, organizer, web browser and other mobile applications, the BlackBerry Pearl also incorporates a digital camera, MP3 and video player and an expandable memory slot.
