Director, Wireless Enterprise Strategies Cliff Raskind, Director, Global Wireless Practice, joined Strategy Analytics in 1999. Through strong foundational research and an ongoing commitment to address client research requirements, Mr. Raskind has established two successful strategic advisory services examining the diffusion of wireless data into both the consumer and business arenas. He is currently responsible for managing analytical research and inquries in the Wireless Enterprise Strategies service. Separating hype from reality, Mr. Raskind identifies catalysts and inhibitors affecting the commercialization of wireless enabling technologies and adoption of wirelessly enabled business applications globally. Key areas include converged device market dynamics, wireless email/groupware, SFA, CRM, FFA, M2M, LBS, dispatch, IT/business model trends and effective market segmentation. Mr. Raskind is a frequent presenter and panelist at wireless industry events and has spoken at Comdex E-Mobility, Comdex Canada, the 802.11 Planet Conference & Expo, Mobile Location Services Europe, IBC's Mobile Entertainment and PCS2000. He has been interviewed on CNET Radio and quoted in such publications as The Boston Globe, Business Week, Business 2.0, PC World, Telephony, RCR and Wireless Week. Mr. Raskind also sits on the advisory board of the Mobile Enterprise Alliance. Mr. Raskind's background includes over 15 years of experience in the wireless industry. Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, he was a product marketing manager for EDS, with oversight of the strategic planning process for a range of wireless billing and customer care solutions. He also held a variety of IT management positions at EDS. Cliff Raskind holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Northeastern University in Business Management and Finance (honors). |
