Daniel Corsetti is a senior research analyst for IDC's Hardware and Telecommunication Services Vertical View research programs. In this role, he examines vertical market trends and opportunities in the enterprise server, network equipment, storage systems and telecommunication services markets. Mr. Corsetti contributes to a wide range of research deliverables, including IDC's hardware and telecommunications forecasts by vertical market and company size, competitive analysis of vertical markets, and consulting.

Mr. Corsetti joined the Vertical research group after five years in IDC's hardcopy peripherals group where he developed research focused on the trends affecting demand for hardcopy peripherals as well as the key software, services, and technologies facilitating changes in the market. He also covered partnerships between software and peripheral vendors, and the impact electronic document solutions will have on paper output.

Mr. Corsetti received a B.A. in Psychology and Art History from Grinnell College in 2000. He joined IDC in the fall of 2000 as an inquiry analyst supporting the Peripherals, Small/ Medium Business, and Consumer Devices research groups.
