Role Based Administration - New to BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1 With BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1, administrators have the ability to define roles for other administrators on the team, such as Help Desk Support. Learn how these roles differ and how to go about configuring each.
Groups - New to BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1, administrators can assign users to administrative groups. Exercises will including creating, managing and configuring these groups.
Instant Messaging - New to BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 LCS, Sametime and GroupWise Messenger can now be used with your BlackBerry. Learn how to configure the BlackBerry Enterprise Server to support these messaging tools and how they work on the handheld.
MDS Studio - New to BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 MDS Studio is a powerful new tool included with BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1. This hands-on lab will teach you the basics of creating an application, pushing it to the handheld and administrating these applications in your environment.
User Deployment Exercises will cover software configurations, administrating and deploying users. The new to 4.1 Enterprise Service Policy will also be covered.
